I just stayed here for an overnight trip with my son. This is a very nice but affordable and non-pretentious hotel. The staff are very friendly in a sincere, helpful fashion. The rooms and general facilities are modern, recently renovated and quite beautiful. I had a great view from my corner room (complimentary upgrade on check-in). The room wins on the little things like smartly placed electrical outlets, generous Lavazza coffee service (in-room), and a gorgeous bathroom with a large shower. There is a rooftop bar with great views of the city. It is located one block away from their downtown area where State St serves as the border between Virginia and Tennessee. There is plenty to do. Nice people.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable place to stay, look no further than The Bristol Hotel! From the moment I walked in, the wait staff treated me like a VIP—so friendly and accommodating, I almost felt famous. The drinks? Absolutely delicious. And the live Blues band? Out of this world! I seriously considered quitting my day job just to soak up their groove every night. By far, The Bristol Hotel is the best I’ve ever stayed at in the United States, and trust me, I’ve been around the globe—Europe, Central America, the Middle East, Asia—you name it! After living and working in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, I can confidently say The Bristol Hotel would fit right in with those lavish, extravagant hotspots. Bristol, you’re raising the bar! Hats off to this incredible team—can’t wait to come back for more good vibes!

The Bristol Hotel is a beautiful, modern hotel in a very convenient location. The rooms are spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the overall design is stylish and welcoming. There’s a nice dine-in restaurant on the main level and a rooftop bar that offers food and great views, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, we left the rooftop after about 15 minutes without being acknowledged by staff, which was disappointing. However, we felt very safe walking to our event venue and a nearby restaurant afterward. The area is clean, well-lit, and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return if we’re in the area again.

I stayed at this hotel and had a great experience with the staff service as well as the communication before and after the stay. I got a text message beforehand making sure I knew the parking locations. I was able to confirm checkin and get some other questions promptly answered. I felt the room was a great value for the price paid. As a final bonus, I accidentally left my headset in the room. They were kind enough to promptly ship it to me. Thanks so much! One minor detraction (not enough to warrant removing a star) is that the foyer smelled like cigarette smoke the 2 days I was there.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Bristol. Updated and over met our expectations. Vivian’s was delicious. The roof top bar was a perfect ending to the night. It was a Sunday and most of downtown was closed but it was a perfect relaxing night at the Bristol. Rooms are all updated and the a/c was cool. It was a very extravagant hotel at a very reasonable price. Great staple of downtown. We will definitely be back in the fall. The bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Nice spot in a good location. The building is quiet and my room was comfy and clean. The restaurant next door was quite good as well, but a tad on the expensive side.

The hotel and staff is awesome. The rooftop bar was great. My only advice would be stay away from the low 700s rooms if you want to sleep early. At least if there is a band on the rooftop. Other than that everything was perfect.

I loved this place! My first time in Bristol and we were here just to stay the night. I am SO glad I chose this hotel. I don’t know if it’s new or well taken care of, but all the building looks and feels updated and neat. The room and everything else was very clean. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good. The staff was so sweet, kind and helpful! Kudos to Kayla at check in, Kristina in the bar and Mr. Travis in the restaurant! They are MARVELOUS and helped make our stay so pleasant! (Apologies if I misspelled your names!) And it that was not enough, I was thrilled when I saw that their shower caps in the bathroom are biodegradable and their make up remover wipes are paraben free! I cannot wait to visit Bristol again and stay a few more days, as the place is beautiful!

**A Wonderful Wedding Weekend at The Bristol Hotel!** We had the pleasure of staying at The Bristol Hotel in Tennessee for our niece’s wedding the weekend of October 10th, and we couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff made us feel truly welcome. The rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable—perfect for relaxing between wedding festivities. But what really made the experience exceptional was the incredible team who helped make the reception unforgettable. Huge shoutout to Haley H, Sarah S, Chandler, Rhaine, Kania, Dustin, Sarah N, Haley G, Anthony, Ruth, and Blake—you were all amazing! Your energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness made the celebration seamless and joyful. We also want to recognize the managers who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly—Laundry, Emily, and Chance, thank you for your outstanding leadership and care. You made a special weekend even more memorable. If you're planning a wedding or just looking for a place to stay in Bristol, this hotel is a gem. We’re so grateful for the experience and can’t wait to return!
